PRESS RELEASE FROM TATE PUBLISHING

I wanted to share the press release that Tate sent out all over Ohio and New England.  In New England over 1000 contacts were made with the media.  I am in the “building demand” stage which includes getting the word out that “A Child Is Missing” is available, through me,www.karenbeaudin.com, Tate,http://www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore/book.php?w=978-1-61566-725-3 , bookstores and online.  Remember to request it if you don’t see it in your bookstore.  Demand produces supply.  Kathy’s story deserves to be told and I want people to know that there is hope in a world that sometimes seems hopeless.

Local Author Shares Family’s Tragic True Story

MOUNT VERNON, OH – Readers enter into the tragedy as Ohio author Karen Beaudin vividly recounts the horrifying revelation of her younger sister Kathy’s death in her book releasing this week, “A Child Is Missing”—the shocking true story of a small New Hampshire town stunned by the revelation of such a brutal crime, and a family devastated by the loss of a beloved thirteen-year-old daughter and sister, Kathy Lynn Gloddy.

The author shares how, as she and her family search for justice, their faith will be tested in the battle against the guilt, fear, and devastating grief that comes when they realize every family’s worst nightmare: A Child Is Missing.

Bob Ward, Crime Reporter, Fox 25 News, Boston, said, “‘A Child Is Missing’ is a painful yet vital glimpse of a murder investigation seen through the eyes of a sister who is still searching for the truth. For anyone who cares about justice beyond the courtroom, this is a must-read.”

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Beaudin and her husband, Mike, have three grown daughters: Joscelyn, Melissa, and Nicole. She currently lives in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Over the years, she has been closely involved with those who have worked on her sister’s case and hopes that “A Child Is Missing” might be a tool in helping bring justice to Kathy, whose precious life was carelessly taken.
